By participating in the application process for the FLAMIN’ HOT® Scholarship Fund, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
The FLAMIN’ HOT® Scholarship Fund has been established to strengthen the academic environment at Texas Southern University by providing funds to students to clear the debt for graduating seniors. The University’s Offices of Development/Alumni Relations will have administrative control over this scholarship fund. Funds will be awarded by the selection committee established by the Offices of Development/Alumni Relations.
To apply for the FLAMIN’ HOT® Scholarship Fund, you must be a currently enrolled and in good standing student at Texas Southern University who is a graduating senior with less than 15 hours to graduate and a 2.5 GPA. You must also submit a video via online application per the provided instructions, which will include your first name, last name, major, hometown city and state, Tnumber and personalized statement. All videos submitted become the property of Texas Southern University in partnership with FLAMIN’ HOT®. Select applicant videos may be used in promotional materials by TSU and/or FLAMIN’ HOT®.
By submitting an application, you agree to participate in the application process with submittal of your video and contact information. The scholarship application process opens on September 19th, 2023 and will close on October 13th, 2023. Scholarship funds will be paid to the the University by December 31, 2023 and awarded for disbursement to students for the Spring 2024 semester. Students will be notified that they received the scholarship from the Office of Development/Alumni Relations via email and/or phone. Funds will be applied directly to the student’s accounts.
Please note that FLAMIN’ HOT® will not be responsible for distribution of the FLAMIN’ HOT® Scholarship Fund.
